Following his hair transplant surgery this patient followed a few steps to stimulate hair growth and get the best results possible from his operation. Starting the second month after the surgery he started using the following products:
Minoxidil: Minoxidil is typically used by people even if they didn't undergo a hair transplant procedure. It is a topical solution that is widely prescribed for Male Pattern Baldness, or for thinning hair in women (naturally or after giving birth). in the case of hair transplant patients, it is sometimes advised to use Minoxidil in the period between the second and sixth month, as it is the period when the newly transplanted hair follicles are growing.
Vitamin B Shampoo: Using a vitamin B-enriched shampoo is an extra step in caring for your transplanted hair. It doesn't give a dramatic change but it can be very beneficial in nourishing the newly transplanted hair grafts. We do give a mild, gentle shampoo to be used daily for the first two weeks, but after that, you can move to the Biotin-rich shampoo.
