Which essential oils can I use to promote hair growth?


  • West Indian Bay Tree (Pimenta racemosa) , invigorating and stimulating

Also called Bay Saint Thomas , this Carribean native essential oil has toning properties to limit hair loss and stimulating properties for hair growth. It also has soothing properties to calm an itchy scalp.


Use: Place 2 drops of Bay Saint Thomas oil in your dose of shampoo. Gently massage your scalp then rinse.


Precautions: Perform a skin test before application - Do not apply pure on the skin - Prohibited for pregnant and breastfeeding women - Not recommended for children under 12 years old.




  • Ginger essential oil, hair stimulant

Ginger essential oil has toning and stimulating properties against hair loss.


Use: Place 2 drops of ginger essential oil in 1 teaspoon of vegetable castor oil. Massage your scalp and leave on for 1 hour before rinsing and doing your usual shampoo.


Precautions: Perform a skin test before application - Do not apply pure on the skin - Prohibited for pregnant and breastfeeding women - Prohibited for children under 3 years old.



  • Ylang Ylang, brings tone and shine

Ylang ylang essential oil has toning virtues of the scalp to fight against hair loss and allow hair growth gently. It also brings shine to the hair.

Use: Place 2 drops of Ylang ylang oil in your dose of shampoo. Gently massage your scalp then rinse.

Essential oils recipes to promote hair growth:

  1. Hair serum for hair growth

This lotion will allow you to enjoy the toning and stimulating properties of essential and vegetable oils. This will limit hair loss and promote hair growth.


Ginger: 2 ml

Ylang ylang: 1 ml

Bay Saint Thomas: 2 ml

Castor oil: 15 ml

Macadamia: 10 ml


Add the oils to an opaque 30ml bottle and shake.Apply this mixture by gently massaging your scalp. Wrap your hair in a warm towel and leave on for 1 hour.

Then do your usual shampoo.

This serum is to be applied once a week. To be done every week or every two weeks, alternating with the hair mask. 


Precaution: Forbidden to pregnant and breastfeeding women. Not recommended for children under 12 years old.


  2. An invigorating hair mask

Your scalp will be cleansed and toned, allowing hair growth and slowing hair loss, thanks to the virtues of essential oils.


Bay Saint Thomas: 2 drops

Ginger: 2 drops

Castor: 1 tablespoon

Green clay: 1 tablespoon

Put the Green Clay in a bowl. Add the ginger while mixing.

When you obtain a smooth paste, add the essential oils. Mix.

Apply this mask to the scalp, massaging gently.

Leave on for 15 minutes.Then add a little lukewarm water and massage gently. 

Then, apply your shampoo normally.

To be done every week or every two weeks, alternating with the hair serum.

           3.  A fortifying shampoo


A fortifying shampoo to stop hair loss and promote hair growth. You will benefit from the toning and stimulating properties of essential oils while providing shine.

HE Bay Saint Thomas: 20 drops

Ginger: 20 drops

Ylang ylang: 20 drops

Neutral shampoo base: 100 ml

Remove 1 teaspoon from your bottle of neutral shampoo to have room to add your essential oils.

Add your EOs. Shake your shampoo vigorously to homogenize.

Wash your hair up to 3 times a week with this shampoo.

Precaution: Forbidden to pregnant and breastfeeding women. Not recommended for children under 12 years old.


Recipe for pregnant women over 3 months and children over 3 years old

A gentle shampoo to promote hair growth thanks to toning and soothing properties


Ylang ylang: 30 drops

Neutral shampoo base: 100 ml

Remove 1 teaspoon from your bottle of neutral shampoo to have room to add your oil.

Add your essential oil.

Shake your shampoo vigorously to homogenize.

Wash your hair up to 3 times a week with this shampoo.

Precaution: Prohibited for pregnant women under 3 months. Prohibited for children under 3 years old.


     4. Rosemary essential oil, hair tonic

Bushy shrub from the Mediterranean basin, cineole rosemary offers an ideal essential oil for dry or oily hair. With its toning and cleansing properties for the scalp, cineole rosemary essential oil promotes hair growth for dreamy hair!

Use: Pour 2 drops of rosemary cineole essential oil into your usual dose of shampoo. To be renewed twice a week maximum.

Use: Pour 2 drops of bourbon geranium essential oil into your usual dose of shampoo. To be renewed twice a week maximum.
