Visited the ASMED medical center this January for a "procedure".
The only thing that surpasses the beauty of the center, the state of the art facilities, Robots(!), massage chairs, patients Hotel (!), Live daily concerts, good food, etc.. , are the people working there. Outstanding level of professionalism and kindness from all the staff. From Dr Koray and Dr. Umut, to the medical team, the coordinators, nurses, the drivers, and everybody else.

What can I say, not only the best hair transplant quality. The clinic is fully equipped with the most advanced tools at all. They know exactly the number of hair you have and the number to be extracted. The service is five stars. Great service! I had my transplant done on the 4th and 5th of August and I have already recovered. It's not an easy procedure, that's why I can say that I have let myself in very good hands and I can recommend to everyone who thinks about getting a hair transplant to go to Asmed. Dr Koray Erdogan is one of the best in the whole world, a real genius who clearly knows what is best to do for the patient. The service in this clinic is bad. They set up a super structure on the name of a famous doctor who works there. But they charge abusive fees for the doctor to assist you and, if you choose to have the transplant with their team, they treat you very differently, as if they are doing you a favor, and as if you were just another number on the requisite list. They are only interested in money. They don't want to hear the customer's story. I tried to talk to them and the interaction was bad, especially by a person who works there named Suzana and the other named Artun.

I just wrapped up my stay at Asmed and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. My patient coordinator, Suzana, was attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. And Dr. Erdogan demonstrated the type of confidence and experience that puts a patient at ease. All in all I give Asmed a 5 out of 5 and highly recommend.

Had transplantation in this clinic about 4 months ago. The service was fine. Unfortunately I got an average or below average result. I hope it may get better with time. My message to future patient is that, beware of the recent result of the clinic, they moved a bigger place, hire more nurses and significantly increased the patients per day that decrease the overall quality of the results. The clinic is at the expensive side in Turkey and nearly a fortune for a regular Turkish citizen but I see no difference from the regular clinics and even several bad results are encountered. The hair transplantation is an art and requires great care and patience, and not to be involved with high tech equipment or decorated patient rooms or food service. Their manual punch technique also requires more experienced technicians and a great risk at the hand of inexperienced ones.
The clinic also hires social media advertisement teams active in local forums they also sponsoring several hair loss forums. To sum up you can get the better or same result by paying less. Do your research well.

Based on my experience, I happily recommend ASMED to anyone considering hair surgery. They seemed very professional and well organized and I certainly felt like I was in good hands throughout my stay. I will update my review at some point next year once I am able to comment on the quality of the results. Recently just attended the clinic for my first ever hair transplant. All the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, especially my patient coordinator Suzana. The staff were highly professional and the facilities they had were outstanding. The procedure itself seemed to go very well and they made the entire process as comfortable for me as they could. I've now had 2 hair transplants with Asmed, the 1st to rebuild the hairline and the 2nd to increae the density. I can say without any doubt that this clinic is the best in Turkey. They have given me back my confidence and my self esteem. They will give you a top class result and take care of everything for you, all you have to do is turn up for the surgery!

ASMED clinic was incredible for hair replacement. Super professional and caring staff, extremely clean, and modern clinic, the most advanced technology, and a Doctor that genuinely wants to deliver a good result to you - the patient. All set in an upscale, luxury like atmosphere that breathes an air of perfectly curated professionalism.
I just had my procedure done this week, so I don’t know what the final results will be, but my experience here was impeccable from start to finish. My coordinator Suzanna was so nice, caring, and accessible. The nurses that helped in the surgical procedure were obviously invested and concerned to do the best job, and Dr. Erdogan seemed super knowledgeable with very experienced and confident hands. He is running an extremely high level team in a beautiful clinic.
I could not recommend this place more highly!!

ASMED is a beautiful clinic. Everything is so professional and clean.
Having the patient rooms in the clinic is a great idea. They’re perfect for recovery, and cleaned every day that you’re there. The meals are brought to your door, and the food is good healthy stuff.
My patient coordinator was Suzana. She’s wonderful. She’s always there with you throughout the process, and nothing is too much trouble.
Dr Koray Erdogan is like Captain Cool. He’s awesome at what he does, and everyone has total respect for him there. The placement and angle of the grafts is perfect. The manual punch leaves very little scarring compared to the motorised one (I had a motorised punch used on my first FUE procedure several years ago). I’m 11 days post op, and you can’t tell I’ve had any grafts taken from the donor zone.
I’d highly recommend this clinic!

The people at ASMED are very honest and direct, very helpful.
I’m from Abroad and they responded quickly and in time and they said I need a future hair loss plan if I go ahead with a transplant. Hairs ok for now- might wait it out.
Their Communication style is fabulous, ask them questions and they will help. They ask for family members hair pics too to diagnose it properly. Very professional and I’m not in turkey and they answered all my questions. 5 star in communication!

The clinic was recommended by one of my Turkish friend. Which he was paying about €4000 for 5000 graph. The give quotation of€ 12000 for 5000 graph and ask them way is that the told me because he is Turkish. I understand that. you can give him 1 or 2 Thousand euros different but not €7000 different I don’t believable that . now if the do it for free I will never do with them .Racist

In Summary: Overpriced and seriously under delivers - for the price paid i should have stayed in Europe. Requested the B package which states the incisions are performed partially by the ASMED Team and partially by Dr. Koray Erdogan – this never happened. Dr. Koray came in and created the incisions for the hairline itself, and then left, must have been in the room less than 10-15min of an operation which took 14hrs (x2 7-8hr sessions) – how is that partially? Furthermore, aftercare after leaving the clinic has been abysmal. My client coordinator, Sevinc, has been disinterested and has to be chased for answers and information. Seriously, if I could do it all again I would avoid ASMED. I feel there are much better options out there for the same price, that WILL give you the service you pay for.

Can't stress how serious this clinic is. Did my hair transplant 9 months ago, the results are incredible. I stayed at the clinic 5 nights (a weekend was in the middle) for no extra charge and everything was more than I wished for. All employees of the clinic really know what they do, my coordinator Suzana was there anytime I needed her and very supportive. Dr. Koray is the best, I maybe payed a little more than other clinics offer but it was really worth it, if I had to choose again I would really choose ASMED and Dr. Koray Erdogan. I had a treatment by them approximately 18 months ago. Enough time to evaluate them.
Cons - 1. Below average results after waiting for 18 months+// and doing 4400 + grafts .
2. They blame my bad results for not taking Finasteride and Minoxidil to support the surgery.
3 Their client coordinator, Suzana is quite a bully. Guys, if you get her as a coordinator, reject her, ask for someone else.
4 Cost of 13000 usd for 4400 grafts paid to them is not worth it. Its better to get it done in Eu or US, if you have so much money.
5. Doctor Koray only does incisions. He does not do actual transplant, even lf you pay full package for his services. He does not do the extraction. He disappears for 90% of procederé to attend other clients.
6. They have an agreement with Raddison hotel located close to them; that hotel spies on all your movements pre/ post surgery - and reports to Suzana.
7. They sell some post surgery shampoo and steroids for Dermatitis etc. The shampoo which may cost 1 euro in local Istanbul market ls sold for 20 euro in their clinic. I discovered this via my local Turkish friends.
Pros - 1. clean clinic.
2. nothing went wrong with me in medical terms.
3. Donor management was good.
4. Clinic is very posh.
5. Lots of modern machines
6. Some of the junior staff was very kind and helpful.
Conclusion - overall, i do not recommend. Either go to cheaper clinics in Turkey. Or if you have money to splurge choose a top US or EU clinic. Thats my plan for next surgery.

I decided to go for a hair transplant at the age of 52 after finding out that my two nephews and my niece's husband all travelled (at different times throughout Covid) from Ireland to the Asmed Clinic for their hair transplants. Their results were incredible!
I was aware my hairline had receded quite badly up to this point but never really felt the need to have a hair transplant. However, once I saw the completely natural results my family members had received, I needed no further convincing - I decided I would plan my own procedure.
I still wanted to complete my own research and even attended consultations in the UK, however I wasn't convinced any other clinic could deliver the same results that the Asmed clinic could deliver. I opted for package A with Dr Erdogan.
I am now on day 3 post my procedure and I cannot recommend this clinic enough. The clinic is beautiful, but most importantly the results are extraordinary. The procedure was easy with no pain and I have minimal swelling post op. My hairline is natural looking and age appropriate. I don't have any pain post procedure but I would recommend staying at the clinic for a minimum of 2-3 days after the procedure to rest and recover whilst still being surrounded by the experts who can help you if required.
There is no doubt, Dr Erdogen is a pioneer in his profession and has set incredibly high standards at his clinic. You can see and hear that all the staff are happy because Dr Erdogen invests in them and has trained them to the highest standards. He's set up an academy at the clinic where he trains the next generation of hair transplantation experts.
I want to also mention that I was very nervous before my operation, however this is natural. In fact, all the other patients I spoke to said they were also nervous, but they too said the clinic was incredible and in their opinion the best. This was my first hair transplant, however other patients had received previous hair transplants at other clinics around the world and they said the Asmed clinic was light years ahead in terms of technology, approach and results.
I would like to call out a special thanks to Suzana my coordinator who was fantastic and friendly throughout the whole process. Everything flowed like clockwork from the minute I stepped off the plane in Istanbul. Contrary to a previous disparaging review I read online, Suzana is not controlling in anyway, but instead highly professional and accommodating.
I would also like to call out a special thanks to nurse Eillena who accompanied me throughout the whole operation and post operation process. Again, incredibly friendly, professional and so so capable. In my view, Eillena could not have done more to help me through the process and could not have been more professional.
To conclude, I highly recommend Dr Erdogan, his highly proficient team and his beautiful clinic. He is not only delivering fantastic results for patients like me, but also training the next generation and each day pushes the boundaries in the world of hair transplantation. The technology used at this clinic will blow your mind. Every single other patient I met felt they had received the best results possible. If you decide to have a hair transplant then this clinic should be on your short list. You will be in very capable hands and will go into the procedure knowing you are being treated by a team at the very pinnacle of their profession. They deliver beautiful and natural results. I have seen my nephew's final results and I just can't wait to see my own, but so far I couldn't be happier!

My hair transplant went very well, I did not expect it to be this good in terms of hygiene and cleanliness, it cannot be better. They took very good care of me while I was in the operation, while I was staying there, even after the operation. The whole team made me feel like I was the most important thing right now. I don't need someone by my side, there is always someone to help from team. Last week I had a hair transplant done by Dr. Korai Erdogan. It is important to say that I am a very thorough person, so before the procedure I did a research examination of the field for a few months. Really a test of other clinics and other doctors. After my examination I came to the conclusion that Dr. Korai Erdogan is the best in the field. I would also like to mention that the service given to me by the coordinator Suzanne was amazing. I received an answer to every answer before the treatment, during the treatment and after. It is true that I am at the beginning of the recovery process and I need patience for the whole process, but I have no doubt that this is the place and the most suitable doctor for a hair transplant. Asmed is not the cheapest clinic in Istanbul, but their professionalism , expertise and care is second to none. When you do an hair transplant in a foreign country, it is worth paying more to be assured you are in good hands.

I had a hair transplant at ASMED Clinic year ago between 6-10th May 2022, suppose to share my experience about it, but I prefer to wait until I see results which was fantastic, I didn’t believe that I will have this look again, it was a dream for me to see my hair covering my head after a long time being semi bald,
Now with the advice of Dr. Korai Erdogan to divide up hair transplant surgery to front which I did already and crown which am planning to go ahead with confidence,
Let me now share details about the ASMED clinic & the staff, first of all I have to say that I was searching for the right clinic for more than 5 years, some of I visited in UK nevertheless the search over the internet,
I have visited some clinics to see and be sure how the surgery will take place, I wasn’t satisfied of what I experienced, it wasn’t professional, and lack of many things could help me see the confidence for such step to take,
I expanded the search to the top 10 hair transplant clinics in some countries, then searched for every one of them until I found ASMED which from the first look I felt that this is the one am looking for and it WAS.
The clinic is well equipped, belt to the extreme standard of only hair transplant clinic, no other! As it has the updated technology to specify and counting hair grafts by sophisticated equipment with a well-trained staff on it, a studio specified for tacking pictures of head before, during and after surgery, not mentioning also about multi surgery rooms available, the patient rooms like a hotel, well the whole place like a 5-star hotel. Gym, training court, café, cleanness, and top services.
I recommend ASMED Clinic without hesitation, they treat you like a prince what do you want more than that, and the most important issue here is the result you want a fine hair covering your head and they do it professionally.
I thank all ASMED Clinic staff kind, polite supportive, hospitable and on the top of them Dr. Korai Erdogan, as I appreciated the enormous help and support from Patient Coordinator Servinc, and the kindest nurse at this clinic Ozgur I call her ASMED ANGLE, and she is.
In conclusion, I highly recommend ASMED Clinic, the result that I have now is enormous, now I will return back for the crown. Thank you

My experience with Asmed was flawless. I was assigned a coordinator (Suzana) who literally went above and beyond in answering all my questions and scheduling everything out for me. I can't speak highly enough of my experience with ASMED. I've had a terrible experience before with another clinic so was super-cautious for a repair operation. Yet, fortunately, I found and trusted ASMED. What makes them different I believe is that everyone cares what they do and strive for the best.
Mr. K. Erdogan and his staff are fully professional yet very approachable. Everything was fully explained to me and all my questions were answered thoroughly and with clarity.
It's my 5th month now and results speak for itself, below (you would't want to see my pre-op photos, trust me with that!)
