The office vibe is really nice, the front desk staff are super nice and easy to talk to. Jackie who triaged was super friendly and helpful. The visit with the Doctor was smooth, answered all my questions and all around great experience.

This WAS a great office and Dr Ahmed is the type of doctor that somehow managed a LOT of patients with expertise and just generally good medicine.
But....Dr Ahmed has now merged with NY Hospital. He is just an employee of the conglomerate. The new office manager is outrageously nasty. The new deal means that some insurances that Dr Ahmed took (he took everything) were dropped. Then, patients were told they had to go to another cardiologist who took their insurance....who happened to be another NY Hospital cardiologist. Many patients are fleeing now as this is an office that exudes a corporate, impersonal, mentality. It is not only about change, but about a change from a practice that was good and efficient, to one that serves corporate greed as their main focus.
Note that Ray has chosen to leave this office after a long time with Dr Ahmed.
I do NOT reccomend this office any longer.

I used To be a patient of Dr Ahmad and I liked Him but now that it’s NYU the whole office changed and they’re not as warm and the first thing they ask for is your co-pay. All doctor offices I’ve been to wait til the appointment is over. Will not be going back

Was a great place at one time but has changed considerably
I understand a lot going on in the world but I can't even book a simple appointment
Nothing against Dr Ahmad but had a phone consult with him due to cancelation due to bad weather was supposed to get a call back for follow up appointment
STILL WAITING !!!
And that was in February
Tried calling the office and got the run around
Probably will have to find new doctor

My only complaint is not about Dr. Ahmad but the waiting room. I understand that it's a busy season, but perhaps it would be helpful if the reception could let people know approximate wait times. That way if it was, say, an hour, people could leave and come back rather than wait an hour in a crowded (so crowded last time I visited people had to stand up) and often noisy waiting room. Also the movies they used to play on the big screen above the reception which could help pass the time while waiting.

He addresses all his patient’s concerns. He never keeps them confused but gives clear views about their health and patients really go with smiles after meeting him. Excellent Doctor in Brooklyn.
