I believe I went the ending of July beginning of August . It was my first time. I did the basic facial that they offer. All the staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. I was satisfied with my results. If you want to see a change on your face I definitely recommend to do a professional facial, afterward start a skin routine, and remember little is more.

Here's my awesome experience with the skin care products. I purchased a couple of acne clearing products through the eboutique. I received them within the following 3 days with FREE SHIPPING. The ladies were so sweet and gave me a little gift on the side! I tried on my products before going to bed and guess what? i kid you not, the next morning most of my acne scars and recently active zits were NOTICEABLY healed! (i wish i had a before and after picture to show) I am just so amazed at how their organic products can work so fast! Now i feel so hopeful and confident about my new routine :)

This is a smaller spa with a wide variety of services. I have only done waxing but I've been extremely happy with my esthetician, Ebony. She has always been very honest and professional about what is or isn't possible and helped me select the correct services for what I wanted. I recommend her and bare necessities without hesitation for your waxing needs.

After 5+ years of not getting waxed after a bad experience, I've found my new place! My waxer was gentle and didn't mind me talking her ear off because of nerves and anxiety. Looking forward to next month.

I’ve been to this location for a facial 3-4 times and all those times I’ve had such a great experience! From the receptionists to my aesthetician Alyssa, they’ve all been wonderful. Alyssa has been so amazing and knowledgeable with my skin care needs, and she always follow-up and recommend the best skin care routine for me. She listens to my skin concerns and always make sure I’m comfortable. I love this place because of the great service and products!

I bought the 1 hour back facial for my sister but it was only around 45 minutes long. Kinda bummed that it wasn’t the full time amount but I think there was only one person working so to give them the benefit of the doubt I think they were just busy. She said that it felt amazing so I’m happy that she enjoyed it. Other than that such a cute place. The people were super nice. My sister said that the overall experience was amazing. So I’m happy that she’s happy!

I’ve been getting waxed for maybe 8 years now and have always had a difficult time finding an Esthetician that fit my needs UNTIL I booked with Liz.
Liz is time efficient, pays attention to detail, is personable, painless and most importantly she’s passionate about her work.
I’ve been booking appointments with Liz for almost 2 years now for BRAZILIAN and full body WAXES and I always leave satisfied with my results.

Ebony is amazing. She makes sure all hairs are gone, takes care of any in-grown hairs, and she makes sure you are fully taken care of from the beginning to the end of your wax. She reminds you at the end of each wax about care and how much time to wait before doing different activities which I love because I often forget how many hours to wait to do what.
Darian (spelling?) at the front desk is amazing as well. She makes sure to offer you wine/water upon checking in (as I've observed while waiting for my appointment to start), which I appreciated because after coming to Bare Necessities for seven months now, I believe she may be the first (possibly the second) time/person that's offered me wine/water before my appointment as I waited. I 100% recommend Bare Necessities as the customer service is great, there's plenty of parking, workers are personable, and the wax they use is painless and not super hard like European Wax Center

The waxing session was rushed and painful. At one point I commented on the temperature but was dismissed and told it would eventually cool down. How would it cool down if you don’t change the temperature setting? Also several areas were rewaxed which is a huge no no. There were too many strays left behind- which I was told was due to not being waxed in a while. I’ve been to another waxing salon and they made sure to be thorough- this is flat out lazy. The lack of care was very disappointing from the wax tech Alyssa. Had to use an ice pack when I got home from the pain. Will never return.

Ebony was absolutely amazing. This was my first time waxing and I’m generally closed off and vulnerable as a younger adult. I just want to say for anyone who may be in a similar situation or have a child, friend or partner that is to try an appointment with Ebony. Bare Necessities is as advertised - a relaxing, calming space, staffed with pleasant, attentive workers, the service (men's full brazilian, from Liz, who was as competent and talented as she was pleasant) was terrific and I was also in and out in less than an hour, I believe, which for a first-time visit, great! I couldn't be happier - I'd give them a million stars, if I could. Lovely local business populated with terrific people and I would send anyone to Bare Necessities.

I requested several extractions in the chin and nose area since I had quite a few breakouts and blackheads, I paid $235 for a facial in hopes that I’d be able to get most of the extractions done. Unfortunately she was only able to get a few out I went to Other medical spas before where they have been able to get more out I’m quite disappointed because of how much I paid the chin is still a bit congested as well she focus more on making it feel good rather than fixing the problem so if you’re looking just for a regular facial with no extractions then I’m sure it’s an OK experience but if you’re looking for extractions if your nose or chin congested I don’t think she’s going to be able to help you.

Crystal was phenomenal. Did everything I needed and kept it relatively pain free and was also good conversation! Got me in and out fairly quickly while still being thorough. While I don't know how prices compare, I definitely think I got what I paid for in terms of service and professionalism.
I'll definitely be coming back here and would recommend the business & Crystal to anyone.

Came here two days before my wedding for the first time ever - based on the amazing things I had heard and their awards, I instantly trusted them with this important tan, and I'm so glad I did! Got an organic express spray tan from Cynthia who was so knowledgeable, so helpful, and so kind! And the tan was exactly what I wanted for a healthy, natural, even wedding glow! I have been coming here for years! Everyone is so polite from the front desk girls to the techs. Alyssa always does the best job! She was my first waxing experience and taught me how to care for it in between visits. She does a really thorough job and makes sure she gets all the strays before I go. I've been a regular Customer here for 4 years when I'm able to get to the area. I don't have anyone else that does my waxing. My usual Tech Alyssa wasn't available at my scheduled time,I should have chosen a different date & time. This newer Tech,Crystal was nice but she didn't heat the wax quite right & went over my more delicate areas of my Face . I left with some of my skin around my mouth ripped off, my face looking like I got a chemical peel & my eyebrows untrimmed or tweezed properly. I would never usually post a negative review but this is the first time this has happened & I think it's unacceptable! My tech and the Front desk girl were very Blase' about it & just said ' Oh it'll get better" & " it's not so bad'. My face burned so bad even water irritated it! Now it looks like I have sever Cystic Acne!????

I've been seeing Mary a few months now for facials and I can't recommend her enough. She assess my skin and lets me know what she thinks it needs. She's SO talented. I'm a mom and a therapist, and much of my time is spent caring for others. My facials with Mary are not only fabulous for my skin, but make me feel so cared for. Her facial massages are amazing!!!

If you're in the market for a Brazilian wax, I highly recommend Helen! I've been going to Pretty Kitty for years, but the service has really gone downhill. I'd come to Bare Necessities for spray tans, facials, and massages in the past (all lovely), but never a wax. So, I did my research and saw several positive reviews for Bare Necessities, especially Helen...and she didn't disappoint! She uses a combination of soft and hard wax (love) and was very thoughtful about applying pressure after pulling the wax to lessen the pain. She was also super easy to talk to and put me at ease instantly.
BN is just a great local business I feel good supporting. The customer service is always warm and I've never had an issue with an appointment or payment. Parking is pretty straightforward (always plenty of spots) and prices are fair. One of the best spas I've found in this neighborhood!

I tried Bare Necessities for the first time several months ago and I love this place! It’s so convenient with ample parking. Ebony is outstanding - easily the best waxing esthetician I’ve ever experienced! She clearly knows her craft and uses both hard wax and soft wax, depending on the place and type of hair. She’s efficient and thorough while making you feel at ease. I’m always surprised by how much less painful it is with her than my other experiences. I can’t recommend Ebony enough!

Well while I can, I wanted to say thank you to the Montrose location. I've been going for over a year (and for around another year, in 2010), and was never made uncomfortable, in what is a womens' space, getting a sort of custom bikini wax as a male.
It was always pleasant. The staff was amazingly professional, respectful, and easy to get along with. I'm unhappy to hear of the fire, and hope you're able to stay in the area.

Unfortunately, my acne always became worse after my facial treatments here. I had a membership for several months and noticed that my skin seemed to be worse off after the facials. In the two month break I had from visiting this spa, my skin is faring much better.
I do not think this spa is recommended if you have sensitive or acne prone skin. Additionally, the aestheticians constantly alternate creams, exfoliants, etc. during each visit, which is not ideal when you have sensitive skin. I understand that they want the customer to experience new products but on most occasions it just worsened my sensitive skin.
The customer service is good. I would just not recommend this facials here if you have sensitive or acne prone skin.
