BEWARE! The Hospital CONCEALS AND FALSIFIES TESTS!
On May 03, 2018 my son Sergey Tsukruk was delivered to BASKENT UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL ALANYA clinic in an unconscious state. On May 13, 2018 he died without regaining consciousness.
Sergey's family paid a considerable bill for the stay in the clinic and therefore we legally demanded BASKENT UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL ALANYA to provide us with all medical documents regarding Sergey's treatment in the hospital during his stay. Issued repeatedly documents were missing important and crucial laboratory analyses of my son on the day of admission - May 3, 2018.
On Mother's Rights, I applied SIX times to the clinic in person, with a lawyer, wrote appeals and complaints to higher authorities and institutions of Alanya and Turkey. However until now, even with the permission of the Alanya Prosecutor’s Office to issue all medical documents immediately, BASKENT UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL ALANYA conceals important and crucial laboratory tests of my son on the day of admission - May 3, 2018. Information about the presence of 250 mg / dl of alcohol in the blood of my son is falsified, not confirmed by any laboratory documents!!
I am crying for help to all concerned people and organisations, the media that could help me in obtaining medical documents of my son Sergey Tsukruk, who died on May 13, 2018 in BASKENT UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL ALANYA, Alanya, Turkey. Documents are necessary for the investigation of a criminal case initiated in Russia.

The worst hospital ever. It does not even deserve to be called a hospital when their only intention is to extort your money. I was shocked from my experience there. They pay minimum effort to the patient and charge ridiculous prices, for instance 80€ for the blood pressure measurement only. I left this place immediately, without completing the visit and found another hospital with way better service. I recommend you do the same.

Fu*king cu*ts.. only thing they want is your money, never pay them a penny(let insurance deal with all paper work and costs).. good just for emergency treatment.. if you are tourist from West Country they would charge you 10x times as much as they would any other person...

I had a good and short experience with this hospital. I went to the emergency room for a hornet sting. Didn't wait much at all and the lady and sir working with tourists there were really helpful. Big thanks to them as they translated for me and sorted out everything with the insurance company for me. Doctors were also nice and I'm sorry if I caused any inconvenience showing up straight from the beach as I didn't know if I would have an allergic reaction to the sting.

In an emergency situation the hospital act awful, we waited almost an hour for open wound which required stitches. The secretary didn’t care about us.I also had to mention that the doctor did his job very well and I’m satisfied with him but not with waiting too long for an emergency situation. That’s why I give just 2 stars feedback.

Good in misleading me and my freinds who came with me and is more used to turkey and was shocked. The consultation was 120 who is the price on the better private hospital price in Norway and for a easy procedure the price was nearly forth as much as the most expensive private hospitals in Scandinavia who is 420 euros and her is 1500 euros. I did off course thank no.

I was treated by an orthopedic surgeon (Dr M. Sulerii Sahin) for a Total Knee Replacement (TKR). Dr Sahin spoke excellent English, had a very caring manner and did the surgery with skill and precision. This is my second TKR and I can say that I am very pleased with the outcome. My four day stay at Baskent University Hospital was a delight. In-processing, nursing care, housekeeping and meals were of a very high quality. Since I possess a residence card, the price was also incredibly low. If I need any medical care, this will be the first place I go in Alanya.

I had an excellent experience with this hospital. My mum was abruptly discharged saying she only had 'mild swelling' from Alanya Life hospital after being hit by a taxi. We took her to Baskent and within 30 minutes they had her checked in, xray'd and identified a broken heel. She was operated on the next day and released 2 days later with check ups every 2-3 days. The room was amazing, clean and well prepared. The staff were all professional, courteous, and polite. But above all the doctors were worthy of their titles. Everyone has different experiences at different hospitals and unfortunately in countries such as Turkey it's the luck of the draw.

I’ve never seen such a moronic place. They simply cannot answer on the phone. They are putting you on hold and stopping the call after a while.

I was extremely pleased by the help I received from the reception team that assists foreigners with getting information and setting up doctor’s appointments. All members, special mention Serhat, were pleasant and very helpful, above and beyond! Strongly recommend their services.

I truly enjoyed my past visit to this establishment. From the very responsive staff on arrival, to the professional care given during the visits, to the OMG goodlooking, fine AF azz men in triage and Dr. McDreamys practicing there. They look so hypnotically good, and smile so attentively right, I forgot what I was there for, omg lol. They're a glowy sight for lost & wretched souls.
All requests were met with impeccable kindness, timeliness, and respect, even through any language barriers. I even enjoyed the wheelchair runner rides... Brought out my inner child (in a good amusement park thrill ride kind of way), when I had to be transferred via a wheelchair runner from one area to another!!! I'm both chuckling & blushing as I post this.
The facility is clean, calming throughout, and serviced straight away.
The level of professional healthcare, attentiveness, genuine politeness, and follow up experienced in my past visit throughout the facility, definitely receives a high recommendation from me, because I felt seen, heard, and glorified as a whole human.

Garbage hospital. They are here just to scam you. Go to Anadolu hospital in alanya, much smarter and cleaner doctors.

Foreigners beware foreigners prices, more expensive than in the EU. 100EUR just to check why you came there, easily 5x the price you get from a normal private Turkish doctor, same with tests, all prices overblown. They will not give your documents back unless you pay 100EUR even if they just ask a few questions, no diagnosis, no exams, nothing. Don't believe their story about "your insurance pays everything" it depends on your contract not what they say. Careful about the "we provide a room for you and your family" yes but at what price... Your insurance will most likely not cover rooms for your family.

JUST USUAL TOURIST SCAMMING TEAM.
YOUR HOTEL IS IN IT FULLY.
Will demand ridiculous upfront, as just in case your insurance will not cover this.
They will not even check with your travel insurance. Just charge you directly and let you deal with it.
Very well organised scam.
Go to government hospitals where you pay normal fees, not highly inflated charge for nothing

We came because of son's bacteria infection. All processes were clearly explained and professional. Room spacious and clean. Staff friendly and nice. Food, water, extra bed supplied also for accompanying parent. Stayed overnight, infusion therapy and medicine helped to be able to flight out. We've received medicine for the remaining treatment.

It is very pity that we had to go there because the kid was ill. But that was the best experience with the hospital in my life. The doctors were so friendly, everyone wanted to help you, they all took care of you and your child. They made the best. The rooms were clean, the stuff was helpful and friendly.
If you have some problems with your health, this is the best hospital and the best medical personal.
Thanks a lot.

A complete rip off - Expensive Treatment by modern standards
First of all, I got help. A foreign body was removed from my ear by suction - I am a doctor and have performed this procedure myself. The Gebührenordnung für Ärzte (GOÄ) asks for 43 Euro in Germany. Here in Turkey I had to pay 11500 TL - over 400 Euros for a procedure that takes 5 min. I asked for a detailed report, giving reason for the price - so far, I did not get one. How can a tourist afford medical treatment in Turkey
